Oh July
It feels like July is always the busiest time of the month. If it aint working, it’s class (hopefully the last time ever!) or something else! Geebus! Well luckily I’ve got things to keep me busy, rather than doing nothing, which I hate. Other than that, things are running smoothly. Marcus and I got a membership to anytime fitness which is awesome. It’s nice to be able to go to the gym with someone. Though it adds undoubtedly to my dependent issues with him -_-
What is it with celebrity gossip that is so intriguing? I religously buy OK!, In Touch, People, etc magazines and sadly I rushed to buy the Jamie Lynn Spear’s front cover one..Her baby is cute though…I think they are on to something with using bright colors and a bunch of pictures. I think I like the pictures more than anything really… Yeah. That’s what I will keep telling myself.. haha!
<edit>
So I threw out my old theme because I noticed some errors in it. BAAAH. Every time I think I understand themes and CSS, something happens and I apparently don’t. bah. till next time.
itty. This movie simply rocks. If you enjoy unreal physics and fantasy this is definitely it. If you enjoy seeing Angelina’s bare bum, then you definitely need to see this movie. The voiceovers by James are hysterical and his plight as Wesley in the beginning are cynical and also hysterical. As his character progresses to become an assassin, it becomes evidently clear how hot James really is. How his character transforms from a “I’m Sorry” son of a gun to a hot ass dude holding a gun. I really enjoyed this movie for it’s character transformation, with James starting off as a shy, pathetic being to a confident, smooth talking assassin. He really pulls off the American Accent as well, it’s almost hard to forget his beautiful accent in Atonement. As for Angie, well it’s Angie! She does well (as always) as the gun toting bad ass chick with a few surprises and twists along the way. Her confidence in this movie also exudes any type of confidence I may have had coming into the movie. The only downside is the back story (the loom of fate? ancient loomers forming an assassin fraternity?) It seemed a little too fairy tale and almost lord of the rings ish to fit into this bad ass movie. Overall, SEE THIS MOVIE! Especially if you love action, hot guys, a hot girl and in your face physics defying stunts, then this is for you!
Aside from Will Smith being absolutely gorgeous, this movie was really interesting. Not only is Will Smith amazing, but he is so unbelievably personable too! But in this movie, Big Willie plays a mean, drunk and apathetic superhero. His portrayel as such is so comical (in the way that mean, drunk apathetic superheros are comical…) that you almost forget he is downright mean. As the movie progresses, it becomes more evident that Mr. Smith is simply still amazing. If it weren’t for him, the movie’s strange twists (I didn’t see it coming!) and manical 1 minute man villan would have me to say this movie was not what it was cracked up to be. The plot twists and then abruptly ends it seems before any questions were answered (Like WHAT THE @$$#$). However, Jason Bateman’s character as the sympathetic P.R. and family man had me in stitches. His message of global love was admirable and pulling it into the movie was at all unnoticed. Charlize Theron was amazing as ever and did a great job of the wife with a few secrets up her sleeve. By far, the best character of this movie is that of Theron and Bateman’s son, who has some awesome lines that just add the whimiscal nature that Will Smith movies seem to add. Overall, this movie brings some laughs, some WOWs and even some cringes, but it is in true Big Willie Style to turn a seemingly odd movie into a cult favorite. I wouldn’t recommend this movie, if you don’t enjoy getting the bang for your buck at the movies in which case you might want to stay home. Unless you’re like me and just love Will Smith, then by all means go see it! I guess this review just endorses Will Smith more than anything!!!
