Eeep! I love my iPod

Okay, I am going to gush. I love my new iPod, despite all the problems I had in purchasing the damn thing, I absolutely love it. It’s like the my idea of awesomeness. I’m in love.. *deep sigh*

I also started doing this to my keyboard. It’s kind of a long process. I’m when I get bored I start putting them on. Ugh, my keyboard is a mess.

Off I go to read twilight! :)

Shh..I’m Huntin’ Wabbit

Okay, I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t hunt, but I would love to! I am all for conservation and for those who don’t know, hunting is one of the most effective ways of conservation efforts. For instance, here in AZ, we have a huge Elk problem. They eat all the food available to both them and pronghorn deer and other animals, and like to become hit and run victims late at night or early in the morning. Since we have no wolves in AZ anymore, humans have to act at the “natural” balance, because if there were wolves, there would be no need to hunt so much.

BUT! That’s not the purpose of my post (cause I could go on all day) but I came across this Nikon BDC Slam Hunter’s Package that includes all the cool stuff like ProStaff 3-9×40 Riflescope with BDC Reticle, ProStaff Laser Rangefinder, Silent Technology Rangefinder Case, Mastering a Long-range shot with BDC DVD AND a $50 NikonProGear Gift Car.

That’s a pretty great deal! Especially if you are one who likes to hunt or have a loved one who does. This is a great gift for them. Especially with all the things it comes with! It’s $299.95 but it’s usual price is over $400! It’s a great steal. So if you are an avid hunter and really want to nail those longshots, this might be the best deal for you. Also, if you’re looking for a high-quality, rugged binoculars, Nikon has, for a limited time only, a promotion to take $20 off on Nikon Action Extreme ATB 10×50 Binoculars! I especially love this deal because I often go hiking and when I am with friends they always point out really cool birds and I can never seen them because I don’t ever have binoculars! I’d rather go for the best deal too and the highest quality. It’s great for bird watching, whale watching, hunting or other activities you need to see far for. So don’t wait though, this is a limited time promotion offer.

Fruits of my (Shopping) Labor

Ok ok! I’m so sorry I took a week to blog! It’s been crazy exhausting and all around maddening this past week. I’ve had to actually do crazy work and even had to work on Thanksgiving. I work tomorrow as well, but luckily it’s my last weekend to work!

My thanksgiving was pretty awesome. Marcus and I made dinner together and I made my first chicken ever! w00t! It was awesome, I feel like I should make chicken more often! We also had deviled eggs, yams, ham, mac and cheese, mashed potatos and collard greens. I also made two homemade pumpkin pies, which turned out really good. Tonight I am going to make some cinnamon buns to totally melt into. We have plenty of meat leftovers but we usually always demolish the sides. Yup, it was a good Thanksgiving :)

I really want to put my christmas tree but but since we are moving in about 10 days, I find that it might be a waste. I mean, we could just put it up and move it since we are only moving a block away, but I saw all my christmas decorations and really want to put them up too :( Boooo. Speaking of moving, we are not doing very well. I need boxes but we only have stupid small boxes from the grocery store. They don’t hold much so I have a billion little boxes everywhere. I’m having trouble though because I really need everything to have a place to go and it’s hard because I am not sure where that place is! I just want to throw everything away! Bah. I just need a big box that I can throw “crap” into and look through it later.

So, I know everyone wants to know, if I went black friday shopping. Yes I did, and yes I woke up early but not crazy early. We bought DVDS from Target, a Wii from gamestop, an ipod touch from Hastings and random stuff from everywhere else. It was fun! I got home and then slept. It was nice :) Then I bought clothes from Old Navy and Torrid. I’d say I made out pretty good.

Tis the season, and I am loving it!

P.S. My birthday is in one week. OMG.

The Party Goes On

So lately I’ve been having this really big funk. My apartment is a mess, I want to crochet, knit and sew and I really really want to work on my website. But motiviation = nonexistent. I don’t know why. I’m just in a slump and it’s not all that bad, but really, it’s hard to focus and get things done when there is no motivation. I wish I had some motivation beads or mojo or something.

So this weekend was actually exciting. I got to hang out with my sorority sisters and get to know some of them better. I also realized that I absolutely hate the cold weather. I am not looking forward to snow.at.all.

So, here is my beginning of the week goal list! :)

  1. Finish and send off Application for sorority position and graduate assistantship. I really really want to hurry and get this stuff off my plate. ’nuff said
  2. Clean the house. It’s a mess. really a mess. I did a spot cleaning and found like things I thought I lost 2 months ago.
  3. Finish/Start/Attempt to make a scarf for my little sister for her birthday. yaaa… still working on that..
  4. Start a pattern for a bag I want to make. I found this cute pattern on Craftbits.com that I really want to make for someone..

I see that I must start small..hmmm… Wish me luck!
