I’m Back!

So, after a hiatus (which was unintentional) I have decided to come back to the blogging world and keep up  my website. I really wanted to come back sooner, but it’s been crazy crazy! I guess the biggest thing that I haven’t announced yet is that I am pregnant. As of now, 14 weeks to be exact! woohoo! So far so good, I’ve got loads to think about and even more to plan out for. I wouldn’t say the pregnancy was a surprise (ok I wouldn’t even say it was sort of a surprise, I planned it, I’m guilty!) but it’s definitely been a journey for these beginning months and even more exciting to see the reactions of my loved ones. My mom is convinced it’s a boy (Won’t know until December) and Marcus wants a girl, while everyone in between has their own idea and hopes. As for me, I do want a boy but of course a girl would be fantastic :D

My first trimester was hell. I’ve never been so nauseas in my life. I was really scared that it would not go away but luckily in the last few weeks it has calmed down. I only get that bad if I don’t eat as often as I should. I think I am already showing (I don’t think my stomach poked out this much before) and I am definitely getting all the unpleasant joys of pregnancy (i.e. small bladder=embarrassing intimate time with hubby). Overall, I am enjoying myself and it’s definitely exciting every morning to see what’s changed and new with my body. I will be blogging more so for those who wanted some blow by blow details *ahem Krista* of my pregnancy, be prepared! I am not holding back!

Otherwise, I am super excited for the holidays and even MORE excited to cook. I’ve never enjoyed cooking,  but I am not sure if its the pregnancy but I want to cook ALL the time. (I never said it was good cooking….) So for TG and XMAS I am planning on cooking my little butt off. It should be new for my family! Also new is that I get to spend both TG and XMAS with my family since this is the first year in 4 that they live within 2 hours of me by car (prior they lived in Missouri…I am in Arizona…definitely not less than 2 hours away..by car)

Well that’s all I can get out of me today for bloggin, I hope I still have readers!

P.S. Anyone excited about New Moon?

First off, I am SO excited about New Moon, however with Tristan being so tiny and we don't do bottles, I am going to wait until the movie comes out on DVD.

I am so happy to hear you're having a healthy pregnancy!! It really makes you enjoy it more.

I would suggest looking into LLL meetings, cloth diapers, baby wearing, etc. If you focus just on the FINANCIAL aspect, in the past 4 weeks we've saved over $300 by breastfeeding and cloth diapering! Insane isn't it!

I'm already resigned to cloth diapers and breastfeeding! I was actually trying to figure out a way for a more green/earth friendly way to use cloth diapers (still uses up tons of water and energy to wash them), but I think I will just invest in a specific washer for the cloth diapers that is energy efficient. But thanks for the other suggestions, I definitely have a lot to look into!

Congrats again on the pregnancy, I'm glad it is going well for you. Don't worry too much about the embarassing parts. By the end, I'm sure you'll both not even blink at it. God knows I've had my fair share of bladder issues during. I think holidays are ALL about family and I'm glad you are close by yours. I can't wait to find out what you're having!

So happy you're back! Kenna will be coming with me to see New Moon. :) I will wait as long as possible to try to avoid the scary fan girls.
